Once materials arrive at our facility, they go through an elaborate process that begins with a preliminary sorting into several major classes:
- Equipment that will be disassembled for disposal as scrap
- Equipment, such as monitors, that will be sent to specialized recycling facilities for proper disposal of hazardous materials and recycling of raw materials
- Equipment that will be disassembled and further sorted into reusable components and scrap
- Equipment that will be tested for possible refurbishment and remarketing
